Corporate Members

Corporate Membership is ideal for organisations or teams who are involved in any aspect of countryside and greenspace management. • Sharing and developing best practice through a national and international network
  • Recognition as an advocate for the countryside and greenspace profession
  • Professional development for your staff and volunteers through study and training days
  • Attendance at Conference and additional events at member rates

Sharing and developing best practice

Your staff and volunteers will have access to our facebook group which provides our members with a platform to raise awareness of new ideas and schemes, share best practice and learn from like-minded professionals.

You will receive complimentary copies of our full-colour quarterly journal, RANGER.

Regional newsletters are also produced and distributed in our more active regions.

We offer special rates to your staff and volunteers if they wish to attend one of our study days where members showcase innovative projects, tackle issues affecting countryside and greenspace management and offer regional networking opportunities. Similarly, our occasional training days and conferences provide members with the skills to meet the current and future challenges in the sector.

Many of our corporate members and supporters of the CMA offer our members either reduced or free places on their own training days and we encourage this mutually beneficial arangement.

Discounts

We have preferential rates for people within your organisation or team who wish to join the CMA as an individual member. They will benefit from a 20% discount on the normal subscription rate.

You will receive a 10% discount off any adverts or inserts you place in either RANGER; also a 10% discount off any future publications brought out by the CMA.

Recognition

You will receive an organisation listing and hyperlink in the Corporate Member listing on the CMA website and a Corporate Membership certificate acknowledging your support of the CMA.

Professional Development

Your membership will help support us in delivering high-quality personal and professional development through study days and training events. People attending our study or training days receive a certificate of attendance and earn CPD points that are required when an accredited member of the CMA.

You will also become part of the world family of rangers. The CMA is one of the founding members of the International Ranger Federation (IRF) and over the years we have provided opportunities for our members to travel to IRF events or training opportunities. Meeting rangers from around the world broadens perspectives and understanding of environmental issues and the wide ranging work of rangers in diverse and sometimes difficult situations.

The CMA also supports those from developing countries in their work through donations, equipment or assisting the families of rangers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
