Evidence RequirementStudent (academic) email address and details of college/university and course.
The Board reserves the right to request evidence of status
Annual CostAnnual subscription £20
Note:  The CMA is currently offering a free one year ‘Student Starter Membership’, available to students in further full or part time education.
BenefitsE-news bulletins, regional networking, member rates at training/study days and conference, electronic (PDF) version of Ranger Magazine (printed copies not available to Student Members), CMA facebook group, plus CMA member certificate, car sticker and pin badge. No voting rights.

CriteriaFor volunteers, those retired from the sector, and those aligned with the aims and objectives of CMA who see the value of networking.

Practitioner Member (formerly Accredited Member)

An improved accreditation scheme is being finalised and is due to be launched in Spring 2021, new applications to this category of membership are not being accepted until the new scheme is available.

Criteria For countryside and urban greenspace practitioners, managers or policymakers who have reached a benchmark in terms quality and experience and demonstrate continuing professional development.

Evidence requirement
To be confirmed prior to launch of scheme.   Applications will be assessed by an independent assessor.
Cost Annual Subscription £60, or £48 if your employer is a Corporate Member)
Benefits Ranger Magazine (choice of printed or pdf version), E-news bulletins, regional networking, member rates at training/study days and conference, entry in Members Directory (opt out if preferred), plus Member Certificate, car sticker and pin badge.

Those successfully accredited as a Practitioner Member can use the suffix PrCMA.
