Ranger Team Leader, Peak District National Park Authority
Jess started out in arts and heritage before making the change to the countryside sector. She has been working at the Peak District National Park Authority since 2018 and is currently a Ranger Team Leader. Previous roles include being the ranger in Edale and the Hope Valley in the Peak District, where she was lucky enough to meet and be inspired by Gordon Miller. She is passionate about access to the outdoors, landscape history, and working with volunteers, and whenever is given the chance gets back out there to do some rangering. When not out on the hill she will normally be found investigating an historic site or talking to someone about medieval history.
