The 2023 Roll of Honour

World Ranger Day is celebrated across the world on 31 July. Achievements across the globe are celebrated, while we also remember those who have lost their lives, or have been injured, in the line of duty.

World Ranger Day is an International Ranger Federation (IRF) initiative, promoted alongside its charitable arm, The Thin Green Line Foundation (TGLF).

How to get involved:

  • Post on social media: post pictures of yourself, friends and colleagues holding the World Ranger Day sign. Share these pictures with the IRF and TGLF social media pages using #WorldRangerDay.
  • Pause to remember: take a moment to honour those rangers who have made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting our planet’s natural treasures and cultural heritage.
  • Raise funds for ranger projects: raise funds for critical projects to equip and train rangers in the field, as well as to support the families of fallen rangers.
