As part of the CMA’s celebration of World Ranger Day (WRD), Hampshire County Council Countryside Service would like to invite you to take part in a study day event at Staunton Country Park and the Hayling Billy Line.
The study will focus on three key themes, the first will of course be World Ranger Day and the vital role that Rangers play in protecting the environment and wildlife, as well as creating opportunities for people to enjoy and engage with that wildlife.
The second theme will be looking at how Lottery Funding has been used at Staunton Country Park to transform it into a nature and people focussed community asset.
The third theme is nature and access and we will look at how an abandoned railway line serves as a key countryside access route and also brings people close to coastal nature.
