Join the Great Bustard Project for a trip out onto Salisbury Plain where you will be given an overview of the project and taken to the best viewing points to see Great Bustards.
Learn more about the species and the issues that were faced before, during and since their reintroduction, including the use of drone technology to help protect them.
Following the trip you will have the opportunity to visit the Bustard Project’s small museum and shop.
The meeting point is Enford Village Hall, you will be taken out from there by Land Rover.
When travelling to a study day please car share or use public transport where possible. If you would like to come by train the nearest station is Salisbury, free car/minibus travel from the station is available, please email admin@countrysidemanagement.org.uk to request a pick-up.
The Great Bustard Project charge for visits as a means of supporting their work. The CMA is subsidising this for members, but a small charge still applies.
Fee: CMA Members £15, Non-Members £25 (plus small booking fee), please book and pay via Eventbrite (see link below)
