Explore the history and management of two Cotswold Grassland sites, managed by Natural England and Painswick Beacon Conservation Group PBCG.

Both sites are near the western edge of the Cotswold limestone. Edge Common is managed by Natural England as part of the Cotswold Commons and Beechwoods NNR, and Painswick Beacon SSSI, by PBCG, with the added challenges of a hillfort, an active golf course, and heavier visitor numbers.

Sandwiches, hot & cold drinks available to purchase at lunch stop. Or bring packed lunch as required. Use of Golf Club available for lunch venue.

Limited parking at the morning venue, please car share where possible. Bus stop at Edgemoor, but transport required to afternoon venue.
