Ecology & Green Infrastructure Specialist, Telford & Wrekin Council
Alan has a breadth of experience, from volunteering in a country park to undertaking ecological research in Portugal, France and Lebanon. He worked at Warwickshire’s Wildlife Trust, and as the Borough Ecologist at Dudley Council before taking on the role of Ecology and Green Infrastructure Specialist with Telford and Wrekin Council. This new role includes writing management plans for public open spaces, designating LNRs, project managing site works and working with, and advising, stakeholders (including community and developers) to maximise gain for nature and people.
