The International Ranger Federation will be compiling the next ‘State of the Ranger Report’ in early 2024 after the survey of rangers across the world has closed at the end of December.

Please do take just a few minutes to complete and submit it. There is a survey for rangers and another for employers. If you feel your employer might take a few minutes to complete that one, please feel free to pass it on as every response helps the final report to reflect the true picture of the ranger situation across the world.

The questions are worded a little oddly in places for most rangers in the UK (eg it asks if employer provides health cover; here I suggest we would count the NHS as health cover; the IRF is trying to find out if rangers medical needs are looked after) so, that aside, it’s easily possible to complete it pretty quickly.
