The morning will start with a short classroom session on the ecology of the Great Crested Newt, legal protection and how to apply for a licence. The site visit will include practical setting out of bottle traps. Ideal for Rangers working in or managing wetland and or ponds or would like to work towards their class GCN licence. Introduction to Tree Identification (Part 2: Leaves)
