Stronger Together – Working in Partnership
Fri, Jan 18th, 2019 @ 10:30 am - 3:00 pm
The day will explore how working with partners in various guises has benefitted Ryton Pools Country Park. We will share our learning from working alongside colleagues and volunteers in other organisations and see how it has been instrumental in unlocking finance and labour resources, as well as opening up new opportunities for site development.
Case studies will include:
- A HLF funded project led by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.
- Site conservation management initiatives assisted by Butterfly Conservation
- Biodiversity Offsetting – grassland enhancement.
The morning will consist of several short presentations by ourselves and partners in Warwickshire Wildlife Trust and Butterfly Conservation. We will then use these as prompts for open discussion. We would love to hear about your own experiences!
The afternoon will be out in the fresh air (so wrap up warm) with a tour around the site, to look at some of the onging projects.
You are welcome to bring a packed lunch, but café facilities are available.
