Pond and Lake Biodiversity Survey Methods

March 19th @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

A joint training day between the South East and East of England Regions, this is ideal for rangers and volunteers who are managing wetland habitats including lakes and ponds.

Also ideal for individuals working towards their class licence for Great Crested Newts.

The day will start with a short classroom introduction to a range of methods including biodiversity indices (Biological Monitoring Working Party Score; Habitat Suitability Index).

Attendees will then apply these methods in the field.

Attendees will need to bring wellies and/or waders; buoyancy aids and suitable clothing for working outside.

Bring packed lunch and drinks.  There is a cafe on site with homemade cakes available!
