Delegates will be introduced to baseline surveying techniques for dormice. This one day course will include classroom based work and a field visit . Delegate numbers are restricted to five due to health and safety and dormice welfare restrictions. Delegates will need to dress for scrambling through bramble. This event will include : Legislation, mitigation and management , Ecology & Behavior ,tracks and signs and checking boxes and tubes for mice in the field .
The site does contain a viable breeding population of dormice but we cannot guarantee find mice during the site visit.
An attendance certificate will be issued to all attending delegates.
