09:30 Arrival Tea/coffee and chocolate biscuits at the Visitor Centre!

10:00 Welcome and Introduction to Crickley Hill Country Park by George Griffiths (Warden)

10:30 A talk from Nigel Hand Adder Ecologist Subjects to include: life cycle, habitat, status, conservation issues on sites, habitat management and discussion.

13:00 Picnic lunch, please bring a packed lunch

13:30 Walk and talk with Nigel Hand around Crickley Hill Country Park Identifying important habitat foci, adder observation (weather permitting) and survey techniques, optimum conditions and habitat management.

15:30 Summarise and Depart

This Training Day requires a minimum of 15 people to make it viable.
There will be a small charge of 20 for members to cover the cost of the main speaker for the training day and 55 for non-member to include membership.
