EUROPARC has announced that the 2011 Junior Ranger Camp will be held from 16-23 July 2011 in Nationaal Park Weerribben-Wieden in the Netherlands.
Participants will take part in activities such as cycling; boating; swimming as well as experiencing the area's nature and cultural history.
The camp will welcome 45 Junior Rangers and their mentors (usually 2 JR's and one Ranger mentor from each successful applicant JR programme).
The 2010 JR camp was held in the Mendip Hills AONB (to be reported in the next edition of RANGER magazine).
Those of you running Junior Ranger programmes might like to make a note of the above event/dates.
