The IRF has made a renewed commitment to the Bolivia Ranger Association for hosting the Sixth World Ranger Congress in 2009. The non-profit funding organization that supports Bolivian parks is providing the Congress organisational staff. The IRF wish to continue with Bolivia as the venue for the 2009 Congress and they are committed to having a signed contract for logistical coordination and a web site active by the end of July. However, they have agreed to move the date of the Congress to November 2009 rather than March and they hope that Congress registration will be open by August 2008.
