CMA membership categories

CMA is for everyone with an interest in countryside and green space management – and there is a range of membership types which will provide the benefits of membership to all, as well as a structured path for members to develop as their career and experience advances. Membership categories are summarised below, or check out the full membership details.

Affiliate member

  • Typical members: aspiring countryside managers not yet employed in the industry, students, volunteers and retired volunteers.
  • Benefits: Links to region, electronic Ranger magazine, members rate at training/study days and conference, CMA facebook group.
  • Annual cost: £15 (or £12 if your employer is a Corporate Member). For more information see full membership details.

Member

  • Typical members: countryside and green space practitioners who are actively working in the industry.
  • Benefits: Links to region, printed (or electronic, if preferred) Ranger magazine, MCMA title, members rate at training/study days and conference, CMA facebook group.
  • Annual Cost: Annual Subscription of £35 (or £28 if your employer is a Corporate Member).  For more information see full membership details.

Accredited Member

  • Typical members: countryside and urban greenspace practitioners/managers/policymakers who have reached a benchmark in terms quality and experience and demonstrate continuing professional development.
  • Benefits: Links to region, printed (or electronic, if preferred) Ranger magazine, MACMA title, members rate at training/study days and conference, CMA facebook group, mentor support for Accredited Membership qualification and retention.
  • Annual cost:  Annual Subscription of £55 (or £44 if your employer is a Corporate Member).  For more information see full membership details.

Fellow of the Association

  • Typical members: people who have made valuable and long term contributions to the industry. Includes people who are leaders in the industry and who have reached a high benchmark in terms of quality. For more information see full membership details.

Honorary Fellow of the Association

  • Typical members: people who the Association believes have made extremely significant and long term contributions to the industry. For more information see full membership details.

Ranger Magazine only subscriber

  • Subscription rate £35 per year. Please contact the office to subscribe.
